P+R PARKING ŠESTAJOVICE
Underground garages are a key element of the new city center in Šestajovice. They provide convenient and secure parking for both residents of the buildings and visitors to the center. The designed spaces feature modern technical facilities and direct connections to above-ground buildings, which increases the comfort and accessibility of the entire complex.
ARCHITECTURE SOLUTION
The underground garages beneath the new city center in Šestajovice are designed with a capacity of 82 parking spaces and cover an area of approximately 2,090 m². These garages play a key role in the overall functioning of the center, providing parking facilities not only for visitors but also for residents of the buildings located directly above them. Part of the garages extends under the buildings themselves, allowing convenient and direct access to these buildings.
Architecturally, the garages are designed with an emphasis on functionality and simplicity, which is reflected in the clean lines of the space, which is divided into clearly defined sections. The load-bearing elements of the structure consist of columns that do not interfere with the flow of movement and are positioned to maximize the usable parking area. Concrete surfaces and robust ceiling structures ensure long life and minimal maintenance. Lighting is evenly distributed throughout the garage area and provides sufficient visibility in all conditions.
TECHNICAL SOLUTION
The entrance to the garage is located on the north side of the city center and is sensitively integrated into the architectural design of the cultural center, which dominates this side of the center. Pedestrian access is provided on the south side of the garage, where there is a staircase with an elevator, allowing barrier-free movement for visitors.
The garages are equipped with a comprehensive ventilation system that ensures regular air exchange and maintains optimal indoor air quality. The fire alarm system is designed with maximum safety in mind and includes fire detectors, fire extinguishers, and hydrants located throughout the entire area. Another important feature is the infographics, which ensure easy orientation in the space, contributing to the smooth and safe movement of pedestrians from parking spaces to individual exits.
