APARTMENTS BUILDING POD LIPAMI

ARCHITECTURAL SOLUTION

The residential building is designed with four above-ground floors. The lowest floor houses storage units for individual apartments, technical and utility rooms, and a small commercial space. In the remaining three floors, there are three apartments on each floor. The top floor is distinguished from the others by the use of dormer windows. The facade mimics a brick facade with various divisions, which enlivens it and gives it vitality. The facade is divided into three color tones, which visually separate the individual residential units in vertical orientation. The highest residential floor is then visually separated from the exterior both in terms of materials and color. The exterior design of the residential building reflects and respects the surrounding buildings on the street.

CONSTRUCTION SOLUTION

The basic structure of the residential building was conceived as brickwork. The effect of a brick facade was achieved using clinker bricks. Perforated sheet metal was used on the inner side of the ground floor perimeter to visually separate the operational part of the building from the residential part, and it allows for greenery to climb on the atrium side. The top floor is clad in corrugated sheet metal. Structurally, the building is divided into two sections, as evidenced by the presence of two staircases. Each staircase provides access to two apartments on each floor, resulting in one staircase providing access to two apartments, while the other grants access to only one apartment per floor.
